SCOPE OF WORK:
Glassline-Lanik JV executed the Design, Engineering, Supply and installation of the Gridshell garden Roof of the central concourse. The column-free organic structure is made of 14,800 m² of structure, more than 1,100 tons of steel nodes, 3350 triangular glass panels, and 19,000 lm of aluminum profiles and sealant joints, to form a single layer structure.
Three funnels extend from the roof at a 34 m height to touch the base of the Central Garden with 110 m long span between adjacent funnels. The selected energy-efficient Insulated Glazing System is designed to provide the tropical garden with the filtered natural light required for the trees to acclimatize to the internal conditions of the terminal and grow.
